Eden Camp is a museum of World War II, based in what was a prisoner of war camp.
The museum takes a chronological look at the war, and exhibits are housed in the huts used during the prison camp days.
We visit Eden Camp every time we're in the area and there are always new exhibits to see, and new stories to be discovered.
The museum includes everything from aircraft and vehicles to gas masks and ration books. It tells the stories of troops and their families left at home, of POW's and politicians. There is a huge collection of medals, with moving stories of the recipients bravery.
We usually plan to spend a couple of hours here and usually end up spending the whole day!
