Lovely welcoming staff, great food. Perfect for singles, couples or groups. The sociable meals taken at big tables and guided walks, graded by difficulty make it easy to get to know people. Homespun entertainment! wonderful views and great location. House a little tired but clean and functional. This is a country house not a hotel so don’t look for a reception! However staff are around and happy to help. Good boot room and laundry facilities for walkers.
