A Friend of 80 and myself 70, both fit flew from Birmingham in November. Met rest of group aged from 35 up and leader at Gdansk and drove by coach to very good hotel in Kracow within walking distance of the centre. ( 15mins) Included in the trip was visit to a walking tour of Kracow with a local guide and an optional tour of the Jewish Quarter all accompanied with history. A visit to Auschwitz again with local guide – upsetting but on reflection well worth the experience and Birkenau.

Optional trip to Wieliczka salt mine ( had to pay for) – lots of steps to walk down but worth the effort.

On last day we two walked to Schlindlers factory to see excellent exhibition about life under occupation.

4 nights 3 days – could have spent more time. very cheap and lovely food in cafes and restaurants, friendly people, easy to get around, plenty of taxi’s.

Would go again.
