The Breezer is the name of the open top bus that travels around the Dorset coastal area from Bournemouth, via Swanage returning to Poole and then back to Bournemouth via Canford Cliffs.

The day with the first Breezer from Bournemouth to Swanage. This is the number 50 which passes through Westbourne, Canford Cliffs and down to the chain ferry at Sandbanks. The bus then goes to the front of the queuing traffic before floating across to Shell Bay and then on to Studland and Swanage. You can get off the bus to walk along the beach but beware of the naturists before the National Trust beach at Studland! From Studland the walk to Old Harry gives a fantastic view over to the Isle of Wight and you can then walk over Ballard Downs and into Swanage. At the bus station you change to the next leg of the Breezer which is the number 40 bus to Poole via Corfe Castle and Wareham. There is now the alternative of the number 30 out to Lulworth Cove! Once at Poole you transfer to the number 60 which returns to Sandbanks via Canford Cliffs from where you can transfer back to Bournemouth on the number 50, from whence the day began.

This is a great day out and the cost is entirely free!!!!!!!!

Oh and if the Breezer is full from Bournemouth then you can cross the road in Canford Cliffs and Catch the number 50 to Poole and reverse the journey, at the same price!! Enjoy!

Another great Dorset journey, free with bus pass, goes from Weymouth along Chesil Beach...stunning...sit on top deck but not open deck...via Bridport, Lyme and eventually into Devon.

I got to the end of the review wondering how much this would cost and couldn't believe it when you said it was FREE! What a great day out and to see the countryside (turning a blind eye at the nudist beach).
