We have been on many flight operators but never on Jet2 until this week. I was impressed at check in and how quickly we got through passport control. Boarding the flight was no problem either. All passengers were on board a good 20 minutes before take off time yet we were sat on board for exactly one hour before he taxied to the end of the runway. I counted 5 Easy Jet planes and 1 Monarch that were behind us in the queue yet they used a slip road and took off before our flight. We landed in Alicante 45 minutes late. The same on our return journey, everyone was seated again 20 minutes before our take off time but we were 1 hour late taking off.

Landing in Manchester 40 minutes late. On other budget airlines we have never had those problems.

That was the only gripe because everything else was excellent. Pleasant crew and what appeared to be almost new planes. We had booked a meal which was superb and there was no hassle, the crew knew exactly where we were and what we had ordered. I would certainly travel with them again in the hope that they ironed out their take off procedures. My guess is that it’s all about money, Might it be that other airlines pay more for take off and landing fees?

Thank you. That does seem reasonable value, especially considering how much you pay for airport food.

Yes it is £8 each way so for my wife and myself it was £32. YOu have a wide selection of meals which you
can select on their web site.
But If you only want a snack then they do ham and cheese toasties and a selection of sandwiches for £3.95.
I must say that the meals were fantastic, the best we have had on any airline. Going out it was an early morning flight so we chose the breakfast. My wife had a vegetarian breakfast and I had the normal one.
She had mushrooms with omelette beans small potato pieces, a bread roll, fruit and orange juice. I had the same but instead of mushrooms I had sausages. Coming home we had similar but it included a dessert and cheese and crackers. I hope this helps, please ask if you need more info.
