The MV Corinthian sailed from Oban and arrived at the Small Islands the next morning.

A morning on Canna and an afternoon on Skye provided two very different aspects of island life.

Lungs and Iona are part of the Treshnish Islands. Lunga provided an amazing opportunity to view seals and the bird life of the isles as well as remnants of Viking habitation.

Iona is the resting place of 62 Kings of Scotland and has many buildings to explore. The early Christian history of the Isles can be seen in abundance.

Jura provided Whisky to whet the appetite for the beautiful gardens of Achamore House on Gigha.

Portrush and Raithlin highlighted Ireland’s abundance of history and natural beauty.
Berthing in Dublin gave us the opportunity to visit a plethora of gardens in the Wicklow Mountains.

The traffic free island of Lundy was a chance to wander and enjoy the islands wildlife.
Tresco and the Abbey Gardens demonstrated what hard work can achieve.

St Agnes was a bird watchers paradise and the island of Gugh with its stone monolith took us back to the Bronze Age.

Guernsey was the most urban of the islands with an amazing history from the War.
Herm , only one and a half miles wide, was a fitting way to finish the cruise with its beauty and hospitality.

The cruise is for people who want a taste of what the Islands have to offer.
