For shame Warners! You admit that compensation is due to our disabled Parkinson group for stress caused on our spoilt 4 day break at Littlecote House in Dec. 2014 yet are unwilling to pay a fair amount.

Your low offer of £21.66 per person per day is for 7hrs every day for 3 consecutive days when it was impossible for us to enjoy the facilities due to severe overcrowding of the public areas, in a hotel already full, by 300+ day trippers on “Christmas lunch” excursions.

Parkinsons sufferers have restricted mobility, cannot manoevre in crowds and become very anxious. You have NOT honoured your contract with us as knowing our group was disabled you did NOT tell us in advance of these day trippers. Where was the necessary “care and attention”?

Our group had visited in May 2014, we loved it, we re-booked for our Christmas break and now we feel that your compensation offered does not adequately reflect the disappointment we are now experiencing and certainly has made us think twice about ever visiting again.

This has been a long protracted issue and needs to be resolved PROMPTLY!! It certainly does not reflect well on Warners as a company that should be caring.

Day visitors were all over the public areas, it was winter, all the hotel guests wanted to be inside too, not outside in the grounds and so it had a maximum impact on our disabled group's stay. Comments on the questionaires from other guests would have had little relevance to the effect the overcrowding had on our disabled members which was very specific. A payment of £21.66 per day per person is not appropriate for our group, it is too little and the profit made by Warners from these day trips was made at the expense of enjoyment of our break.

We are extremely sorry to hear that you felt your break with Warner was spoilt by day visitors at Littlecote House Hotel. After a thorough investigation taking into account the circumstances surrounding your groups specific requirements and looking at comments from all guest questionnaires on the break; we feel that the compensation offered was appropriate. Day visitors to all our sites are limited to specific areas of our hotels that we feel have minimal impact on our resident guests’ enjoyment of their break.
