Every year we toddle off to this Festival with our Victory Morris (from Portsmouth) friends to stay in the school field in tents and campervans. A lot of singing in the Neptune pub every day plus dancing in the streets goes on, plus drinking of course! There are many different dancing sides which is fun for everyone – children too love the noise! As well as Morris dancing, my partner is a singer and together with two friends entertain and amuse audiences and themselves!

There are loads of great places to eat and plenty going on for all in all the pubs and stars performing too. It gets hectic in the town and a mess of plastic drink containers but by the morning it is all clean and tidy again.

It is quite a hilly place so fitness helps, but there are buses beck and forth from the campsite which is a boon. A great beach there too and weather is usually lovely.
A week of laughs, music, dancing and songs – great fun.
