Normanby Hall Country Park is a popular day out for locals. I have already written a detailed review. This just covers disabled access.

Out of season, when the hall and farming museum are shut, there is no entry charge. There is, however, a small charge for the car park. Blue badge holders can park free.

There is level access to the grounds by the stable block and many well made tarmac tracks around the park. Paths through the woodland may be more difficult, especially after rain.

There is full disabled access to the walled garden with greenhouses, potting shed and bothy. The Farming museum is also fully accessible.

There is ramped access to the Hall and access to the ground floor, but not to the costume galleries on the first floor.

The shop and cafe are also OK.

There are disabled toilets by the car park.

There is now a network of all weather footpaths through the woodland which are suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
