Harlow Carr Gardens at Harrogate is a RHS attraction and a delightful place to visit. Try and avoid school holiday times and you will find this to be a lovely, tranquil place to go and see beautiful trees and plants. I visited with my daughter and 11 month old grand daughter on a lovely sunny day in early July. We began our visit at the onsite famous Bettys Tea Room for a cuppa and a must-have fat rascal(a lovely fruit candied rockcake/scone). It's a bit pricey but we were having a treat-although you can take a picnic because there are lovely areas for this. After a very pleasureable stroll around the grounds, we decided that we would make this a monthly treat from now on.
