Reception was friendly and as we got there at 5am they gave us a cheese roll which I thought was nice. The room was very small but all you needed. The curtains were lovely and thick so you could rest in the day (that's if the cleaners or other guests weren't slamming the other rooms doors!) The hallways made even a quiet conversation really loud so imagine the noise from drunk guests late at night. I found I needed to rest everyday as my sleep was disturbed most nights. The food was really great. A small selection but what was available was really tasty. Others moaned about the lack of selection but we enjoyed most meals we had there. You got two 500ml water bottles put in your mini fridge each day and you could fill these up in the restaurant. The downside was how some of the English holidaymakers behaved. Very fat men shirtless and covered in tattoos and no sense of manners with wives who looked thoroughly fed up with their lot. It seemed a much more suited hotel to the northen regions of England as we didn't hear one Southern accent whilst we were there, the entertaInment seemed geared towards a more Northern group also and we only enjoyed one nights entertainment so went out most evenings which sort of meant we didn't get the use of our all inclusive stay The hotel was a 10-15 minute walk up a steep hill from the local bus stop. There was a taxi button which you could press if you wanted a taxi but after witnessing a really bad accident involving a taxi and a quad bike we didn't fancy using them whilst we were there. We came across a lovely bar "The meeting point" which was half way up the hill where we would stop and have a drink or two before facing the final walk up to the hotel. They did lovely English breakfasts and a tea for just £2 which was great if you missed the hotel breakfast. The best place to shop was Hisoronu which was a 25 minute walk where you can find lots of bars and restaurants, very helpful English speaking Doctors and Chemist, all sorts of things for sale including very cheap and friendly beauty salons. The market is on a Tuesday but we didn't like that as you get pulled into the stalls by the stall holders and they are all shouting at you to buy their products and look at their wares! We will return to that area again but will stay self catering in a villa as this would suite us better as we were out so much.
