I booked because no flying and all the ports were new to me except one. Although solo everybody was very friendly. Ship bit bigger than I am used to but did not seem to matter. Accommodation very comfortable and food excellent. 3 dining rooms with choice of fixed sitting or anytime which I was pleased to opt for,,buffet, 24-hr cafe (criticism: charge for tea & coffee in this although sandwiches, salads were not which seemed ridiculous) 2 speciality restaurants with cover charge. Wine was very expensive. Service good & friendly and gratuities were included in shipboard account & were reasonable. Internet charges were terribly expensive & sattelite internet terribly slow. Luckily I was allocated 250 free minutes as booking perk or would no thave used it. Excursions were good with excellent guides but again very expensive. Being on my own & very elderly and daily in a different port I had to use them. The ship's design was very attractive. There were good alternatives to the ship's song & dance company (who were not exactly to my taste) = a guitar, violin and accordion trio and 2 cocktail pianisits/crooners. Although there were only 2 days at sea there was still time to fit in some dance classes taken by some of the company and these were very good and made valuable exercise.
