100,000 tonne ship, length from one end to the other dreadful if you have problems with walking, food good, company of guests excellent, entertainment wonderful, and the ports of call very well worth the effort of getting there. But with such a large ship, for an older traveller some thought should be put into what it entails. With 2,000 passengers all who want to tour the ports you must book your tours when you book the cruise in the first place to get what you want. And some of the tours are spectacular and are worth the difficulties; the Beagle Channel and all around Ushia just unforgettable, never mind being in the middle of 750,000 nesting penguins. Cruises are supposed to be relaxing and you really must want to see this side of the world for the flights are long and arduous and this trip can be very hard work but the sights that you see and I would also say that your travelling companions you meet on board are very interesting; for to go on a voyage such as this you have to like travelling so the people you meet, have a bond with you and are genuine world travellers which if you are a single such as myself is one of the joys of going on such a long trip. Might also add that the size of the ship makes it possible to take a voyage as a single and if price matters you have to have such a large ship.
