My late wife and I have been on 18 cruises with various cruise lines. My wife died in October 2009 and I realised that this was possibly my last cruise, however my 39 year old son agreed to accompany on a cruise. We chose this cruise as we had three nights in New York prior to the cruise. We wanted to see Boston and also met American friends in Bar Harbor. David being a cruise virgin was mesmorised by the ship both with decor and food. We opted to eat on an anytime basis which was brilliant. The food was excellent and the ports of call very good. Our favourites were Boston and Halifax, Nova Scotia. The entertainment was superb and we would recommend this cruise to either the experienced cruiser like me or a novice like my son. For my birthday he gave to me a bound book of pictures he took and wrote in the book the Magical holiday. With excellent food, ship and ports of call a dream holiday.
