One of our favorite walks in Cornwall is one between Chapel Porth and St Agnes. This time we decided to park in the clifftop car park about halfway between the two and walk to St Agnes…or more accurately to the Driftwood Spars pub at the bottom of the valley down from St Agnes town and near the beach. The walk is fairly easy apart from the steep climb down to St Agnes beach. The reward is the stunning views from the clifftops which are covered in heather and earlier in the summer sea thrift on the field walls. We have seen seals and even dolphins as well as hawks. The pub serves good food and a pint and is a welcome halfway house.
