Visit Weymouth the perfect British holiday resort for a great holiday, weekend break or a day trip. Weymouth has all the perfect features for a enjoyable visit to a classic sea side resort. They wide Sandy bay looks out towards the gold and white cliffs of the Jurassic Coast and is backed by Georgian terraces and a wide esplanade lined with palm trees.
The sea is shallow and warm enjoying sunshine all day and is great for boating, sailing, paddle boarding, surfing, kite surfing and wind surfing and power craft and the golden sand is fantastic for building sand castles.

The harbour dating from 1750 is lined with colourful Georgian dwellings, inns and restaurants and is deep enough to sail out of what ever the state of the tide. Colourful fishing boats, super yachts and smaller craft line the harbour and there is a safe and sheltered marina beyond the unique lift bridge across the harbour. There are four sailing clubs where visiting yachtsmen are welcomed. A wide range of craft can be hired and there are a number of boat or rib trips out to Lulworth Bay, Portland Bay.

Portland harbour, the largest man made harbour in England which is famous for the four mile long Chesel beach to the West and over looked by the Island of Portland.

The Jurassic Coast continues to the West as far as Lyme Regis and there are many
interesting towns and villages and tourist attractions within easy reach.
