What to do in Torquay Torquay Plenty of things to do in Torquay and the English Reveria all year long.

Take a ferry over to Brixham, a half hour sea trip across the bay to this historic fishing port which is one of the most important in Devon.

Take a trip on a steam train to Dartmouth ,a cruise to Totnes along the River Dart and return to Torquay on a vintage bus.

Visit Greenways, Agatha Cristies home over looking the River Dart, looks as if she has just left home as many of her treasures are still on show .The gardens are beautiful and extensive. Now owned by the National Trust.

Walk along the coast to Paignton along the coast path, easy walking passed many small coves.

Walk East along the coast to Babbicombe along the cliffs with extensive coastal views, lots of steps which lead to a series of small coves, great for swimming.

Visit Torre Abbey and museum for more Agatha Crestie memabelia and and detailed
account of Torquays long history.

Take a boat trip East along the Coast to Teignmouth and Dawlish under the red cliffs, past the Parson and Clark rocks and the see Brunels railway clinging to the shore.
