Booked a two night stay at Oak Lodge,Church Stretton, the reality out did the photographs on it’s site. A lovely well kept property in a beautiful setting. Very nice to get away to a secluded piece of greenery, yet only two minutes from a small town.
Extremely comfortable bed, I was particularly grateful as I was suffering with sciatica.
The hot tub helped ease my bad back too.

We only met the female half of the couple that own and run it, Sara was as helpful as one could wish for, carried some of our luggage on arrival (my bad back), gave us lots of information about Stretton and the surrounding area. Lovely lady.

Had a very relaxed weekend.

Church Stretton or 'Little Switzerland' is really lovely and you can take a train to Wales or the Midlands from there too.

I love Church Stretton - great place to base yourself for walking the Long Mynd.

Oh please can you tell us more about the room you had and what it was like. Also what was on the breakfast menu - this can often make or break a place!
