A quick way to brighten up the darkest days of winter is to spend a few days in Bath – a world heritage city full of natural warmth!

Enjoy the Christmas Market with lots of brightly decorated wooden chalets nestled around Bath Abbey, welcoming shoppers to its special carol services.

Visit the Roman Baths and see how the Romans enjoyed themselves in the natural hot springs, as well as how they kept their villas warm. Make sure that you leave time for an elegant afternoon tea, accompanied by a string quartet, in the elegant Pump Rooms .

Round off your day with a a dip in the rooftop pool at Bath’s Thermae Spa before enjoying dinner in one of the fine restaurants dotted all over the city.
