A great way to relax and catch up with the low stress levels. Embarkation is clinically efficient with a few queues, but handled with compassion. You need to go through security similar to airport, with the usual hassles. No problem finding cabin and the cases arrive within about 4 hours or before… giving time to explore a little. First stop Dublin, which was wet , but using the green hop on hop off bus you can see the city with out getting wet. Then steaming to Iceland direct. Arrive in the capital and dock within walking distance of the centre. The air is intoxicating with the lack of pollution. Next day the ship moves to the north of the island within 60 miles of the Artic circle to visit the second city on the island. Big difference and a great place to spend the day. The whole trip took in Dublin in Ireland 2 places in Iceland, four in Norway and one in Belgium. Food quality was excellent and readily available for the those who need to eat 24hrs a day for some reason.Only downside was the cleanliness of the fellow passengers who did not seem to wash their hands very often. Top marks to P&O Cruises who seem to keep a calm attitude to even the most stupid situations caused by passengers (there must be a book in there somewhere!!).
