The Route NC500 starting and finishing at Inverness, Scotland will take you through some of the most beautiful scenery you will ever encounter. If you stick to the route this is 500miles but you will miss so much beauty if you don’t detour a little…. we added an extra 530 miles. It’s possible to complete on a budget – we camped for 3 nights then stayed in a mixture of dog friendly accomodation from B&B, Byre, youth hostel and finally a beautiful hotel in Strathpeffer. Suitable for all ages – the beauty is astounding! Beaches, lochs, mountains and history – it’s all there ❤️

It’s extremely hard to pinpoint one favourite but if I have to the notorious drive on the Bealach na Bah from Applecross to Kishorn was my highlight, scary, crazy and exhilarating! Can’t wait to return and do in the opposite direction ❤️

I've done most of this over the years. What was your favourite bit?
