Aged from 15 to 73, four of us visited Longleat in Late July 2029. We all enjoyed our two days there, being able to travel round the Safari Park three times over the two days, thus seeing different aspects of the animals at different times. The lions were really close to the road and the gate to their quarters during our safaris at the end of the day so we took loads of close shots. The wolves had just been fed during our early morning drive, so we saw the young cubs fighting over chunks of meat. Sadly only the male tiger was on show as the female was inside with their two new cubs, but they are all on display now the cubs are older. We avoided the monkey enclosure, a wise decision as we saw several cars being stripped of their wipers and aerials etc.

We all enjoyed our trip on the lake to see the seals. You could buy a fish (£1) or maybe two, to feed the friendly sea lions. We also saw the gorillas from the boat and the two elusive hippos. When we got off the ferry, a lady was having a feed-the-red-panda experience so we were able to take lots more close up photos of the gorgeous red panda. We did the same when a couple were feeding the three aardvarks. They were really lively, sitting up like dogs with paws on the couple’s knees to be hand fed.

There were loads of other animals to see during the day and a fantastic playground for the under 12s plus merry go round which we hadn’t seen before.

We took loads of photos and had a fantastic time both during our safari trips and whilst we walked round the rest of the animals.

We did walk quite a long way but I believe wheelchairs can be hired if necessary. We also looked round the large house which is still lived in by the latest owner.
