We stayed here in February and had lovely sunny weather. Venice was not too crowded.
The hotel is reasonably priced for Venice and very near the Rialto Bridge. The room was very traditional with a spotlessly clean modern bathroom. Next door is The Malibran Theatre and downstairs is a Pizzeria. The breakfast wasn’t brilliant but apart from that, I would recommend for a budget break.

We regularly stay at The Malibran, having first stayed there on an HF Discovery Holiday. Yes, it is a traditional Italian hotel and not high class but the staff are so friendly and always remember us. I think the breakfasts are pretty good, although the space for buffet is narrow and can get crowded. The restaurant is now more than a pizzeria and has quite a good selection of food for those who don't wish to search out something more exotic. Menus are in several languages, which helps.. It's main advantage is the location, which although central, is just off a busy fairly quiet. Some of the bathrooms have been upgraded recently. We always try to book a Superior Room for a bit more space.
