At Hedonistic Hiking, we specialise in small group escorted hiking holidays – with more than a little gastronomic indulgence! Our main destination is Italy, but several tours cross over into neighbouring France, Austria and Slovenia.

Our tours are as much about gourmet food and fine wines as the hiking! Lunch on most days is a delicious al fresco picnic, rustled up with fresh regional ingredients, while restaurant dinners showcase the best local cuisine and wine. Our guests learn about the local food and wine by walking through the landscape, past vineyards, orchards and fishing ports but also by spending time with cheesemakers, truffle hunters and wine-makers. You can get a flavour of the gastronomic element of each tour from our sample menus.

2020 has led many people to rediscover the pleasures of walking and reconnecting with the natural world. At Hedonistic Hiking this is what we are all about – fully-inclusive guided walking holidays in some of the most beautiful parts of Europe with a touch of luxury thrown in. Tours are graded so there is an itinerary to suit all levels of fitness. In June 2021 hike in the stunning mountains between Nice and Turin, exploring the Mercantour National Park and the Maritime Alps, or head for the gently rolling vineyards of Tuscany in September. All the tours feature fabulous accommodation with the very best food and wines the regions have to offer.

Our holidays are fully-inclusive of accommodation in hand-picked, locally-owned hotels, all meals, excursions, transfers and any additional activities.

Hedonistic Hiking was established in 2007 by husband and wife team, Jackie and Mick Parsons, who still lead every tour. Guests come mainly from the UK, US and Australia, with tours generally comprising a mix of couples, friends and solo travellers (small supplement applied to holidays booked for solo travellers).
