Meet our Patron, John Carter
We are delighted to have the veteran broadcaster and travel expert, John Carter, as our Patron.
A household name, John has many years’ experience as a travel journalist at both The Times and Good Housekeeping, and as a TV travel show presenter, fronting the BBC’s Holiday programme and ITV’s Wish You were Here.
We have been very pleased to introduce and interview John at various travel shows and on The Wireless for The Silver Travel Radio Show, where his humourous and lively approach to travel keeps the audience highly entertained. John made an appearance for us at the Silver Travel Show at Hartwell House, Buckinghamshire with a fascinating and insighful talk, full of remarkable anecdotes.
John’s gentle, yet authoritative articles can be found on the Silver Travel Advisor website on our Features,
look under ‘John Carter, Now and Then’. You are bound to smile and
find out something new about destinations around the world.
