I have exactly the same experience of comps. Been doing them for 35 years – used to win quite regularly when it involved the effort of hunting down the application form, buying the product and creating an original slogan. Now it is just a “click here” lottery I never win anything – bring back the good old days eh?!

I enter every free competition I see. I’ve won lots of things in the past but mainly in ‘invent a slogan’ type ones.
