I wonder what it was like for the small team left to keep everything ticking over when the place shut down, never knowing if it would ever be used again. I bet when they used it in Hudson Hawke it was a real shot in the arm for them.

I believe they said all the loco’s were over 80 years old and still run well.

They were built to last then.

I saw this proposal on the news a couple of days ago and thought at the time what a great idea it was, I believe they said all the loco’s were over 80 years old and still run well.

I don’t think it would be something I would be interested in doing though….
