John Suchet There were over 100,000 votes cast in this year’s Silver Travel Awards, with tens of thousands of people recognising the travel companies, cruise lines and destinations that have given really excellent service and ensured you have had a superb time on your travels.

STOP PRESS – THE RESULTS ARE NOW REVEALED

The winners have been announced for the 2018 Silver Travel Awards, which celebrate the best travel companies, experiences and destinations for the over 50s market, at a glittering reception held at the National Portrait Gallery in London on Monday 9 July, hosted by Classic FM presenter John Suchet, and with a musical twist of Michael Jackson.

Now in their fourth year, the Silver Travel Awards were supported by headline sponsor Saga Holidays, gold sponsor, Wendy Wu Tours, silver sponsor Avis, consumer media sponsors the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and with the soundtrack provided by Classic FM. Read about all of our sponsors.
The Awards were expanded to a total of 21 main categories and were voted for by more people than ever, with over 100,000 votes being cast.
