The Twilight Zone This prize draw is now closed.

The West End transfer of The Twilight Zone has landed and audiences are saying it “A shudder-inducingly good night out” (WhatsOnStage). This “riot of retro, kitschy sci-fi camp” (Telegraph) leads you on a chilling journey into the unknown, through eight stories set where the extraordinary is ordinary, the impossible probable, and where you’re never entirely sure what’s real and what’s your imagination.

Unlock the door and “celebrate what theatre can do” (The Stage) with this electrifying, unpredictable evening of mystery, fantasy and the wonderfully weird.

Blake's 7, I have the full set of magazines for this in the loft and all the paperbacks too. However I preferred the character Avon to Blake.

It definitely has to be Star Trek in our household although Dr Who comes a close second!

Star Trek - total escapism and the knowledge that Captain Kirk would always save the day!

If you think that was bad, my mother brought my sister and I to the cinema to see The Blob!! Maybe this was her version of "scared straight"!!!

I am old enough to remember the Twilight Zone series on TV and I can remember how scary and creepy it was.. Years later I used to spend a lot of time with my nephew and I began to tell him the stories from the series. He loved them but it was only later (when he was grown) that he told me that they gave him nightmares for years!!

Oh, got me thinking. Maybe Avatar, or how about Star Wars? And there are the really scary ones such as Alien, or the really creep The Fly. But I have seen scarier and creepier. Then what about The Stepford Wives and control of women with Glen Close. No, I think my favourites are Close Encounters of a Third Kind and E.T. Both are feel good movies and they make one feel hope for the human race. I came out of both those films with a smile on my face and a glow in my heart and Close Encounters just pips E.T. as my favourite.

My favourite science fiction TV was a children’s serial in the 1950s called the Red Grass - my first introduction to the genre and it was very scary.
