And to round off your visit, there’s a delicious cream tea to look forward to as well!

Kings and queens, world leaders and celebrities were all wined and dined on board, from Frank Sinatra and Liz Taylor to presidents Mandela and Clinton.

The Queen looked stunning and beautiful on her wedding day. I imagine if internet technology was around then we would have gone into meltdown for the occasion. For 70yrs endurance and support the Queen and Prince Philip show the youngsters the way.

William and Kate's wedding was perfectly stated with Kate looking beautiful and elegant. I was so glad Kate had retained her dignity during their brief break when William foolishly fell for someone else. Their love and support shines through.

More recently Harry and Meghan's wedding was superb for the relaxed, free flowing and acoustic ceremony. Meghan looked beautiful, as always, and their love for each other oozes. I hope their love lasts.

    My three favourite Royal weddings.

I enjoy seeing footage of our Queens wedding as she looks so young and carefree and the fact that the marriage has endured is a lesson to us all

I know this wedding wasn't televised but I really like Zara Phillips & Mike Tindall as a couple & the fact that their wedding was quite understated when it took place in Scotland. They come across as a very down to earth & happy couple who manage to live a very normal life whilst embracing their royal responsibilities.

It would have to be Charles and Diana the whole ceramony was beautiful Diana made all teenage girls dare to dream that they could meet a prince and marry one Diana was a lady of the people who changed the royal family to being closer to the people and made the royals more human to every day life

Harry and Meghan's wedding was my favourite, I thought it was lovely to watch their faces as they are so obviously very much in love, it is great to know that Harry has found happiness as so much sadness in his early life.

Princess Alexandra to Angus Ogilvy. As a young girl I was mesmerized seeing a real life princess getting married. I made a scrap book of the pics from the papers. Later, as a teenager I was at an event she attended and she walked past me as I guarded the door. She was beautiful!! My hubbie and I are celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary this year and are booked to come to Edinburgh at start of July so this would fit it well!!

Princess Anne's was the first time I'd seen the excitement in the streets of London with people celebrating together and enjoying the occasion with strangers.

Prince Charles and Lady Diane's wedding was my favourite wedding. As my husband and I got married the same year, I was interested in what familiarities there would be. I enjoyed watching the whole day and I compared my dress to hers, also their cake to ours, and what the weather was like on the day.
I also went on to have two children the same years as they went on to have William and Harry. But happily my husband and I are still married and extremely happy.

Loved them all for different reasons. I think the favourite dress was Fergie's, the best location for photos was Harry's but the over all winner has to be Princess Diana's wedding because it was a real cause for celebration throughout the Country. Every town had its street parties and celebrations and it seemed to cheer everyone up.

The Queen and Prince Philip's wedding as after the war restrictions on clothing it was wondeful to see such a beautiful wedding dress, some features of which such as the Commonwealth emblems were also embroidered on Meghan's stylish wedding dress. It was lovely to see such a link between the two weddings.

I was twelve when Princess Margaret married Antony Armstrong-Jones at Westminster Abbey in May 1960. It was the first royal wedding broadcast on television, and I loved it!
It was all so romantic, from the engagement ring designed by her future husband in the shape of a rosebud to the beautiful silk organza wedding dress designed by Norman Hartnell. Her wedding bouquet of orchids and lily-of-the-valley was the inspiration for my wedding flowers in June 1970. Sourcing lily-of-the-valley at the end of June proved difficult and there was none to be found in the UK. Of course, this was a time when buying things out of season was almost impossible. In the end, a florist managed to track some down overseas and ordered six very precious sprigs for my bouquet.

The article was very informative and gave a brief resume of the life and times spent aboard the Royal Yacht. Also the writer noted the Yacht’s accessibility, popularity and attractions for the visitor whilst the photographs illustrated the impressive surroundings in which the Royal family experienced life at sea. I congratulate the writer and photographer on their excellent article.

Prince Charles and Lady Diana's wedding was the loveliest wedding as it was the first truly fairy tale romance for
a long time and everywhere you went people watched it, it brought the people together. It definitely had the feel good factor at the time.

It has to be Harry and Megan's wedding, traditional but bought into the 21st century, you could feel and see the emotion on the whole event, so much thought had gone into the smaller details to make the wedding their personal day including favourites of Princess Diana. A very happy family occasion.

The wedding of Harry and Megan. The day was beautiful. I went with my family to the local park where it was shiwn on a huge screen. They had set the seating up like a wedding with tables. Drinks were available and we finished of with ‘Royal Jelly’ from a Queens head jelly mould. It was like actually being one of the guests at the Royal Wedding. A great atmosphere and loads of fun.

Although Prince Charles and Diana was the first ever Royal Wedding seen by me on TV in South Africa, I must say that Prince Harry and Megan tick all the boxes......a very happy, not afraid to show emotions Harry, and a 'girl next door' Megan is the perfect Royal Wedding. It shows that ANYONE, ANYWHERE, can meet their Prince and become a real Princess. I wish them a long and 'happily ever after' marriage.

Charles and Diana is still my favourite. I was a student, taking children from Liverpool on holiday to Whalley. We spent the wedding day at the ruined Abbey, recreating the event among the ancient stones and on the old altar. The kids who were usually quite a handful had a wonderful time being princes and princesses for the day.

The wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle has to be my favourite! Why you may say? Well in March this year, my mum was chosen to receive Maundy money from the Queen. The venue was St George’s Chapel, and the reception was in the state rooms of Windsor Castle! Seeing the Chapel again on the television, with the beautiful stained glass windows, the wonderful carvings, the gold plates, the amazing floral displays , the choir, the exquisite dresses and suits , the wonderful atmosphere, all made the royal wedding extra special for me. To top it all I found out that we shared the same state rooms for our reception, as the Royals! What an amazing day!

I know it is the most recent but Harry and Megan's wedding was just delightful. They looked so much in love and seemed so relaxed with each other. The weather also helped and the beautiful setting.
