This prize draw is now closed.

Alfa TravelThis month our friends at Alfa Travel are offering our prize-winner a 4 or 5-day holiday for 2 people (sharing a standard twin/double room at a Leisureplex Hotel) to be taken before 1 May 2021.

Alfa Travel specialise in escorted tours to some of the UK's seaside destinations. Alfa's very own Leisureplex Hotels are situated on the coast, from Fort William in the north, to Newquay in the south – there’s a choice of 22 locations for the lucky winner to choose from. Luxury Mercedes coaches pick you up from local joining points and the friendly, experienced drivers will take you to your destination – all you need to do is sit back and relax, whilst enjoying the view.

Once you arrive, perhaps at Cromer, Llandudno or Bognor Regis, you can explore the delights of these iconic seaside resorts and the surrounding areas with the included excursions. After a great day, out and about, you’ll return to your hotel for dinner, which is part of the included half-board meal package, along with breakfast, of course. There is gentle entertainment in the evenings too.

Alfa Travel are adhering to strict health and hygiene measures to prevent Covid-19, including spaced seating on their coaches and have a flexible booking policy too.

Would love to try a coach holiday. It would give my husband a welcome break from driving on holiday.

Looks like a superb prize. Enjoyed a coach holiday in the Highlands a couple of years ago & it was outstanding.

I enjoy coach holidays because they are different.
I have been on a few in the past but the last two were to Rimini in Italy and Disneyland Paris. Coach holidays allow you to relax and admire the sights whilst someone else does the driving and you are also taken to all of the places as part of the itinerary, rather than having to find the destination yourself.

Really enjoy coach holidays, travelling along at a much higher level than in a car allows you to see so much more. Also able to completed relax and let others take them strain’. Would love to win this.

I have had some holidays both in the UK and abroad where coach travel has featured fairly prominently. I do not find them as relaxing or comfortable as corresponding train journey holidays. However, the latter are restricted to wherever the railway provides access to whereas coach tours can access most places.

We haven't taken a coach holiday since the 1970s and I think it would be just the ticket to revisit the pleasures of this form of travel, probably more comfortable nowadays too.

My husband has had to give up driving due to his eyesight so this coach holiday sounds like the perfect answer. A coastal resort holiday sounds just the ticket!

We have always driven to places. Even taking turns, so often with my new camera my wife bought for me, I miss some really interesting shots. The thought of an experienced driver whisking through some of the spectacular scenery on offer, fills me with anticipation. Of course, the obvious benefit is that we are both getting a little long in the tooth for the adventures we had driving long distances to see particular places. We have an Australian friend who always takes the coach when she visits Europe. She has nothing but praise for the idea, so here is a chance for us to see if it measures up to her praise.
