We used to go to Hayling Island when we stayed with relatives in Portsmouth. I used to love going in the pools left behind when the tide went out ... we were lucky enough to see a squid once! I remember the water being fairly warm, clear & sometimes quite deep. :) Happy memories!

What a blast from the past these weekends would be! I would prefer the festive fun one, mid November is such a depressing (and busy) month it would be lovely to be able to get away for a few days and forget about the Xmas shopping!

Today's shows lack the real enthusiasm of those days which once much hard work went into ensuring that the whole experience was a brilliant one for those of all ages...what a contrast to today's so called stars with a one hit wonder...give me yesterdays every time!
