I haven't been to Hayling Island since I was a child so this would be an opportunity to re-live memories and make some more.

    Oh to be on Hayling
    And hear St Peter's bells
And stand in St Mary's churchyard
Hear the stories the ancient Yew tells
And sit on the sibilant shores
With the sand and seagulls and shells

I last went To Hayling Island when I was about 18 so many, many years ago! My mother used to live near Chichester and was married there so going to Hayling Island and visiting the area would be wonderful. It would bring back memories of visits to my (rather scary) grandmother!I I would love to go on either of the breaks and perhaps take my sister with me as she spent quite a lot of time in that area,

We spent our honeymoon in a caravan on Hayling Island back in August 1971. We had got married on a tiny budget and for some reason mum had to cancel her week away in the caravan so gave it to us as a wedding present.
