So similar in some ways but so different in other ways! What is not to like - Vikings, amazing scenery, cats without tails and a least a thousand years of history. What a story!

Not long after my parents had started courting, my Dad went on holiday there and sent my Mum some of the famous Manx kippers through the post. Not knowing this was a Manx tradition, my Mum did wonder why this man was sending her fish! I'd love to go to the Isle of Man, so I can taste their kippers and send some unsuspecting person on the mainland some fish!

Would love to visit the Isle of Man again, it has been forty years or so since we holidayed there so would be lovely to see all the changes there must be. Really enjoyed it then.

Hubby and I visited the Isle of Man a few years ago, had a wonderful time even though the weather was dreadful while we were there. The island is a truly wonderful place to visit, when we visited it was on a coach trip and we had some great days out. The Laxey Wheel was one of my favourite places. It's our Ruby wedding anniversary later this month and it would be wonderful to win this prize so we can visit the delightful Isle of Man once more.

I was brought up on the Wirral and as a child I believed that there were lots of motorbikes, manx cats and three legged men living there! I never did make the trip and it would be amazing to go and visit.

Have been hoping to go to there since seeing Julia Bradbury's programme on the television about her visit to the Isle of Man. There seems to be so much more to see and do than I had imagined.

In his student days, my partner went on a marine biology field trip to the Isle of Man. His stories of the island, and the fantastic marine life there, mean I'd love to visit with him to relive our student days :)

Would really love to take my partner to the Isle of Man. He’s never been and he will be 80 this year. I spent happy times there on holiday as a child, so it would be great for me too.

I love the Isle of Man. We had holidays in Port Erin, Ramsey and Douglas as children. Such happy memories.
