This sounds lovely, and it happens to be just a few days before my wife and I celebrate our silver wedding anniversary - assuming she can put up with me for another five months!

But, to whoever wins, have a wonderful time and remember how lucky we are to have these beautiful places so close at hand.

This would be a lovely break not been down to the English Riviva for some years, had such a hectic Christmas last year that we are planning a relaxed one this year and this would be a perfect way to start the festive season

As anyone knows if they read my reviews, I am currently walking the South West Coastal Path (piece by piece). How nice it would be to have a visit to that part of the world that doesn't involve muddy walking boots and aching feet!!

My wife and I would love to visit the English Riviera. We are both approaching our 3 score and 10 big birthdays in 2020 so this holiday would be very welcome.

This holiday brings back memories! My husband was talking with our then next door neighbor who asked him about our holiday plans, now my husband having a Spanish accent, told her where we are going. “Oh how lovely to be going to turkey on holiday” she said! We were of course going to Torquay! Great prize!

My dad loved going on several of these breaks over twenty years ago. I promised myself that when I retired I would try it too. This could be my chance!

There is something magical about the seaside in winter . Crisp, cold morning walks on the beach and then lovely pub lunches in front of a roaring log fire , a perfect pre Christmas treat .

Turkey and Tinsel outings are a Godsend to those without family nearby. My grandchildren live in Holland and it is expensive to get there for Christmas as well as the hassle of travel and aiports -so we tend to try and get a UK break , meet amazing people, eat ourselves to death and then chill. Turkey and tinsel events are increasingly popular with an ageing population and long may they continue.

I've done my share of Turkey dinners and Christmasses at home are always winners, but I would just love to sit back and enjoy a Christmas away without sight of a toy, a trot around the sights of Torquay then back in time for cakes and tea, markets and shopping and treats galore a winning fab Christmas for me, me, ME!!!

This Turkey & Tinsel trip would make a welcome change from usual Christmas with In-laws and a trip with a recently bereaved cousin who needs taking out of her comfort zone would do her the world of good.
