For an unbiased and all round assessment of the pros and cons of a particular holiday or trip Silvertravel Advisor is first on my "hit list" when looking for ideas or inspiration.

It's the one place I go to where I know I'll get knowledgeable and helpful information from people with a like minded love of travel. Seen through the eyes of travelers of a similar age their comments and helpful tips are invaluable.

To all contributors I say a big thank you and keep on writing.

Who was the winner of the Gulet or Viking river cruise for September?
  • Carol

My husband works in the sea, so it would be a nice change for him to have a holiday in the sea. He doesn't think he would like a cruise because he associates it with work, and imp trying to convince him otherwise. Winning the trip on Fantastica could be the start of all our sailing into the sunset together holidays.
