Win a short Coastal Break by Coach with Alfa Travel

February 2019 Prize Draw

Alfa Travel coach outside Royal Norfolk Hotel in BognorThis month’s super prize is a trip for two people (sharing a room) with Alfa Travel, to travel by coach to and from one of their delightful Leisureplex hotels on the coast for a 5-day holiday.  You’ll be picked up at a local joining point, for 4 nights half-board accommodation and 2 full-day excursions.

Alfa Travel is a real favourite with mature travellers, seen as a company who looks after their guests in style, with modern, most comfortable coaches (mainly Mercedes) and 3-star or 4-star hotels, many in characterful, listed buildings, at the best of the British seaside. You could be visiting Scarborough, Cromer or Great Yarmouth in the east; Bournemouth, Shanklin, Torquay or Eastbourne on the south coast or Ilfracombe, Port Cawl or Blackpool on the west coasts. There are further iconic coastal resort destinations available too.

A full English breakfast is offered each day, and then you will be off on an excursion, if you choose, for two of the days or you could enjoy exploring the resort you’re visiting and all its attractions. A 3-course dinner each evening is included in your prize, as is evening entertainment in many hotels.

This is a super way to have a break with no hassle, and enjoy being taken to your accommodation and out around the area with an experienced and knowledgeable driver.

Would love to win a trip to Torquay. Love that part of the world but put off by the drive. A coach trip seems an ideal solution.

A nice little break back in the UK would suit us perfectly. Whether it would convince us to return for good may be a different story.

I like driving generally and having travelled on many coaches (although more on trips than holidays) and have always fancied trying to drive one.

But rest assured you are in safe hands this time as I certainly will NOT be your driver for this particular trip!

I would love to win this holiday by the sea. My husband has not been well & we haven't been away for a while so a short break in the UK would suit us perfectly. Thanks to Silver Travel for opportunities.

would love to try out the Coastal Break with Alfa Travel, I don't have a travel companion so it will be a bit of an experiment for me to see if I can enjoy solo travel. If so, here's to many more .

As my Dad was a coach driver, I was lucky enough to know the joy of coach trips from an early age. I still get that joyful feeling whenever we travel on a coach having so many very happy memories ,especially when visiting my wonderful Dad's old haunts !

There's nothing quite like a break at the English seaside. All the adult relaxation with childhood nostalgia for good measure. Love it!

We love travelling abroad but there is something very magical about coastal resorts in the U.K. They are so very fulfilling and allows you to be transported back in time to revive special memories.

With all the hassle nowadays of travelling through crowded airports, the seemingly inevitable flight delays and cancellations and the possibility of even more disruption after Brexit, a holiday where you board a comfortable coach and are driven expertly through the lovely English countryside to a seaside hotel where they will definitely speak your language (and offer a proper English breakfast!) is definitely very, very appealing.

What an absolute treat this is!

It's been around 35 years since we had a coach holiday, where we travelled for almost 36 hours to get to our destination - Rimini Italy. It was a LONG coach ride but i remember with such happiness the beautiful scenery as we passed through the different countries on our way, especially the stunning sight of the moon reflecting on the lakes in Switzerland. Amazing!!
