The Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro

The Royal Cornwall Museum offers a fabulous collection of artefacts and archaeological treasures and here you can experience the history and culture of Cornwall dating back to prehistoric times.  The museum is a brilliant place to visit and runs a variety of special exhibitions and collections throughout the year.

Poldark Mine, Helston

Poldark Mine is described as the ‘Jewel in the Crown of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site’ is a significant feature in Cornish mining history.  The open air museum is set in a beautiful rural location with tours and talks about the history and heritage of the mining industry and the importance of the trade to the area.  There is ample opportunity to buy locally made products with crafters producing beautiful handmade items.

Discover the Lizard Peninsula

The Lizard Peninsula is England’s most southerly point and is home to incredible views, breath-taking landscapes and amazing walking opportunities.   The area is perfect for active holiday makers that love exploring the coastline with places such as Kynance Cove available to visit, and it also provides an opportunity to view the Goonhilly Earth Station, the largest satellite earth station in the world.

Visit Looe Harbour

The Eden Project, St Austell

A must see in South Cornwall is the iconic attraction of The Eden Project.  Spend the day exploring the many biomes and tropical gardens, and see the spectacular flora from around the world.  The Eden Project hosts a variety of events throughout the year, many included in your entry ticket.

Visit Doc Martin in Port Isaac
