Never had a problem using Gatwick. Very efficient airport with some very good hotels on site and nearby. Plenty of places to eat and drink in the airport if needed.

Although Gatwick Airport is smaller than others, it's not my only reason to want to use Gatwick International. I look forward to arriving from the United States on Norwegian directly into Gatwick for the simplicity of transfer for London or Southern England. To be met would help me adjust more quickly from my jetlag and help me avoid mistakes that drain energy for the transit onwards. Wonderful beginning to my vacation!

Wonderful Airwick Gatport, as we used to call it back in the happy-go-lucky 60s as we sped through the single terminal to catch our charter flight to Spain. Since then the airport has made enormous improvements: a second terminal; the shuttle; far more airlines and destinations; great shops and restaurants; travelators to the gates; its own newsletter with special offers for travellers; easy access from the station and many other pluses. Unfortunately nowadays air travel itself is no longer as pleasurable as it used to be, especially with crowds of people undergoing stringent and time-consuming security checks, which, albeit necessary, are always intrusive and irritating. So the Gatwick Premium Meet and Greet amenity is a real boon to the stressed traveller. OK, it costs a bit, but for we silver travellers, why not treat ourselves occasionally and be treated like a VIP as we are whisked through to the gate to set off on our holiday with a spring in our step?

Our favourite is the Marriott Courtyard Hotel. The best, most relaxing airport hotel we have ever used.

Gatwick is our airport of choice. It's easy to access, easy to park and easy transition to the airport. Always plenty of people to help with digital check ins and then once through the restaurants are comfortable and quick to process our requests. A really good experience.

Gatwick is a bit further for us to travel to, but is worth it. it has a "friendly" feel to it.

We fly from Gatwick whenever we can. It is easier to get to, smaller and more friendly and their membership e-mails give some great discounts for the airport shops.

Would love to be treated as a VIP's we always try and fly from Gatwick as its only a short drive. Like the way you can travel between the terminals on the monorail. Great buzz about the airport , lots of moving walkways, restaurants and shops but some gates are a very long walk from the departure lounge. If you register as well as vouchers you can also get updates direct to your mobile.

I love Gatwick. All the facilities of Heathrow but not as bustling or as huge. It is easier to get to as well (despite Southern Rails attempts to stop people getting there!) It would be nice to be treated like a VIP when we arrived!

We like Gatwick as it's only 40 min drive from our home. We also like getting there a few hours before flights as there are plenty of shops and eateries to keep us entertained :-)

If you go to the Gatwick Airport website and register with them you can get some very handy vouchers for drinks and money off including a voucher for a free hot drink at Pret which we used before out last flight.

We like the assistance at Gatwick. The staff are extremely helpful . I usually like to walk but if there is space they take me with my husband. Would defiantly book assistance every time here

We love the fact that you can hop (or maybe step!) off the train and straight into the terminal to check in at Gatwick. The facilities are great and we always try to arrive earlier than necessary to take full advantage of the duty free shopping. This new service sounds like it would enhance the whole experience.

Gatwick is always our first choice of airport from which to fly as we live in Kent. North or South terminal matters not, both are brilliant.

The great advantage about Gatwick is its size compared with that Behemoth of Heathrow. It is so much more manageable for us Silver Travellers - and this service will make it even more so.
