Mr and Mrs C visited Rome on a much longed for break to celebrate a special birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially St Peter’s, the restaurants, the gelato as well as the combination of old and new, effortlessly blending together. Mr C was very impressed by the public transport, easy travel!
Carole in Corsica
Carole Tidball and her partner travelled to Corsica to review the very gorgeous Casa Theodora in the Balagna region of this gorgeous island. It’s a gracious, small, recently renovated hotel with a country house feel, set in fabulous walking country, surrounded by small villages and traditional ways of life. A rural idyll.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines
Cruise guru and Silver Travel Advisor, Alan Fairfax travels on Braemar to the Canary Islands. He finds the ship excellent, the dining rather good and a very happy group of passengers who love the ship. Alan is not surprised, the facilities are all exactly spot on.
This is a real find of a ship, the MS Alegria was once a hospital ship so it has spacious public areas that work well for wheelchairs and electric scooters, as well as full size lifts to all levels, including the sun deck, and roomy cabins with adapted bathrooms. This unique ship offers everyone the chance to cruise in Europe.
